Cardiac Surgical Procedures (24-Hours Services)
- Any type of Coronary Arteries, valvular and Aortic Surgery
- Congenital Surgery for adults Teenagers and children over 25 Kg: ASD, VSD, Partial AVSD, coarctation of the aorta, mitral annuloplasty nor complex plasty, bioprosthesis and mechanical prosthesis. valvular surgery, aortic surgery and congenital surgery for adults and children
- PDA ligation in ELBW infants whenever indicated
- Intra and Extra Hospital Circulatory Assistance (ECMO/ECLS)
- Cardiac surgery is currently not performed in neonates and children below 25 Kg. Very complex cases are transferred to France
- Patients needing urgent Heart and Heart-Lung transplant are also Air-transferred to France on ECMO support (CSMU) whenever needed
Vascular Surgical Procedures (24-Hours Services)
- Carotid, inominate and thoracic arteries
- Abdominal aorta and branches, lower limbs’ arteries
- All type of endo-vascular surgery (balloon dilatation, stenting, endovascular prosthesis), in collabroration with the Radiology Department
Thoracic surgery (24-Hours Services)
- The surgical team is well known for the management of all type of intra-thoracic and pulmonary surgery
- Lung cancer, Esophageal Cancer
- Chest Trauma
- Pneumothorax Surgery and Surgical treatment of recurrent Pleural Effusions
